lyrics:
I am She
Ich hasse diese Frage
Hass
Gefangen
Sozialisation
I am She
i am me
i am she
i am they
who have been persecuted
not for our politics
not for our want of power
but for our very existence
for the shapes of our bodies
for the knowledge we once held
for the ability to give life
for the threat to their male dominated socially conditioned power
for the threat we once posed
and still pose
to the mice who govern
our wonderful concrete planet
yes i am she who was the slave of the devil
yes i am she who lured men’s souls to their doom with lust
condemned forever forever original sin
yes i am she
condemned forever
forever original sin
yes im she
this song is an attempt at venting our anger at the inequality that has
been and still is rife amongst the human population. after over 2000
years of the oppression of women i feel very empowered when i see women
standing up in our male dominated world and taking control over their own
lives.
this song is written because we are too few, too hidden and too quiet. i
want to be able to stir some other womens hearts into doing exactly what
they want to do without the fear of embarrassment or failure.
for all those women out there already doing something active and for all
those women out their who wish they could do something different but dont
trust themselves this song is for you. a little poem of encouragement that
we are not alone in our everyday struggle, that we have a history to stand
on and that we should all be aware to keep the solidarity with our
CompañerAs.

Ich hasse diese Frage:
Hey warum bist du so?
this song is about hating to justify yourself and your way of life to people which think
that they are above you.

Hass
Hass gegen die Regierung
Hass gegen die Gesellschaft
Hass gegen Menschen
Hass im Alkohol ertränken
Hass mit Drogen verstecken
Hass aus Verzweiflung
Hass aus Trauer
Hass aus Gedanken
Hass gegen Räume
Hass gegen Mauern
Hass gegen Menschen
Hass verdrängen
Hass ausleben
Hass aus Hilflosigkeit
Hass aus Angst
Hass
Hass gegen mich selbst
Hass wird zur Wut
Wut zu Gewalt
Gewalt wird zu Hass
Hass in mir!
this song is about feeling so much hatred within and against this fucked up world. And
that we mostly turn this hatred against ourselves and in self destruction through alcohol,
drugs, etc. that the fear and inability to deal with this world, turn so often into rage and
hatred. this song is also about turning the rage and hatred not against ourselves but
against the things that destroy us.

Gefangen
ein verzweifelter schrei
in dieser gedankenlosen stille
zerbricht an mauern
den eigenen, den fremden
oder ertrinkt in prozac
stirbt an den vielen lügen
an dieser falschheit
erblinden an leuchtend grellen bildern
erfriert an diesem angeblichen wohlstand
zubetoniert von künstlicher richtigkeit
bis der gedanke das gefühl
nicht mehr findet
einfach wegsperren
dann wird(bestimmt) alles gut
ein endloser schrei nach leben
ein wütender schrei nach freiheit
aber wir wissen doch alle,
dass leben tötet
this song is on one side against prisons, and locking people away in general, and on the
other side, about being imprisoned in this society and all its rules and norms. it does not
mean, that we are not oppressed, just because we are not actually in prison. in this society
nobody is free. already the simple existence of prison has a deep impact on our society, how
we act, what we do and especially what we do not do. prisons don’t help people, they don’t
protect us. they punish people, they keep us all down. reality has shown that prisons don’t
help to make out of “criminals” better rehabilitated people. most of all people in prisons
are in prison for property crime or drugs, and a very big percentage of them are migrants,
but not because they are more criminal, no the reason is the racist laws and police. if you
are politically active, there is a very big possibility that you will end sooner or later in
prison. for further information about prisons and why we are against them, checkout some of
the abc groups on the links page.
our passion for freedom is stronger than any prison

Sozialisation
ist immer und immer wieder
nicht vielleicht doch zu oft
immer wieder am anfang
von anfang an
anerzogenes scheint so unüberwindbar
der versuch nur mehr schmerzt
sich selbst(so oft) in frage gestellt
und die antwort meistens stinkt
kopf & herz
sind meilenweit entfernt
am selbst zerbrechen
überall vorgeschrieben
wie wichtig es ist
traditionen bleiben
„wahre Liebe“
erhält das system
sich selbst zerstören
weil mensch so viel reproduziert
was so verhasst
aber
sich selbst zu fressen
macht selten satt
this song is about being socially conditioned, to the norms of this society. being
pressed into a form of one or the other of two genders, and force fed the so called
“knowledge” of good and evil, normal and strange. we learn our whole lives, that women are
weak and men are strong, and if there is someone who doesn’t fit in, than they are a fag,
homo, slut, bitch or whatever. for this we think it is not ok, to use these words and/or
think in these stereotypes and categories. this is not about being politically correct, it
is about oppressing people, and reproducing the misbalance of power that is our social norm.
this song is also about embracing these structures even when we are say that we are against
them.it is about dealing with yourself, and how you deal with your surroundings. we have all
had drilled into us and still carry; (hetereo)sexist, homophobic, racist, anti-semitic,
fascist stereotypes in ourselves. and we have to fight them and try to get rid of them, and
this wont happen in a day or two. I guess it is a progress through your whole life!
